ARIS offers different solutions for use in explosive areas. Often an oversized solution is used and an expensive and complex actuator for Zone 1 is also used in Zone 2, where the requirements are significantly lower. ARIS is one of the few providers to offer solutions for Zone 2 and 22 respectively. The drives for these zones are much simpler, but still meet all requirements. They are certified by a notified body and can be offered much cheaper. By using these variants you increase the competitiveness of your plants. Of corse ARIS also offers a pressure-tight encapsulated solution for use in Zone 1 areas.
